This past weekend saw RAILstuff take to its first Model Railway show with a little trip down to Birmingham with the Bournville Model Railway Club who hosted a fantastic show in Longbridge. There were some stunning layouts, including the mind boggling German Z Gauge layout from Wyre Forest MRC - http://www.wyreforestmrc.com/index.htm There were also traders aplenty with some superb ranges of locos and rolling stock... and then little old RAILstuff with a selection of scenery and accessories. It has been fantastic fun visiting the last couple of BP Fairs and meeting so many of you - so much fun in fact we will be back this weekend in Doncaster of all places! Previously we had thought old Donny might be a bit far, but after realising it's basically the same distance for us as Bolton was yesterday then it was time to book in. This weekend I will be taking RAILstuff to its first show, and I couldn't be more excited to get out and meet fellow hobbyists. Our first public outing is to the superb BP Fairs Toy & Trains Show this Sunday (8th August) at the Staffordshire County Showground in Stafford. Not only is it great to get out and about, it is also wonderful to be going to our first show in the county where RAILstuff is based. We have more show dates to announce soon!

So we have taken the plunge and booked in to a big show! The Great Electric Train Show in Milton Keynes is one of the biggest on the calendar and provides us a great opportunity to meet some of the wonderful enthusiasts of our hobby (and hopefully sell some stuff too!). So that the cat doesn't have to go to the cat hotel for the weekend, my Dad is going to come along to give me a hand which will be great as he is a closet enthusiast himself. Anyway, we can't wait to meet some of you.
